What Folks Are Saying

Rated 4.0 out of 5

I understood all of the story. I thought the pics were good. The dogs look very dirty and very smelly. It’s not a long book and it was not very funny. I like funny books the best. I did like Run for it, Molly Paws – that was funny!

I thought this was a sweet story but not very exciting. I liked the dogs as they look very cute. My dog enjoys bathtime, and he also thinks it is fun to roll in mud and smelly stuff.

“I just read this with my eight year old son and four and a half year old daughter. This story is a wonderful story to read as a family. This book will make a great gift or addition to your family library. Cute story beautifully drawn pictures that match well with the story. Will be getting a copy for our shelf.

Molly and her sisters, Momo, Miss Mia and ZoZo explore in the yard. They get themselves so dirty that they need a bath. This was another awesome book from the author and I can’t wait to read more.

The Real-Life Stories Behind the Book

Molly Paws loves to find a patch of grass that is all stinky. Then she proceeds to roll in it until she’s satisfied with her aroma. I have grown fond of the scent over time, but my wife can’t stand it. And with Molly being the eldest doggie in the house, she had to teach it to her two younger sisters. When I first started to think about this new adventure, I knew that the stinkweed had to be a part of a book about bath time.

We rescued Marley in the spring of 2020. She is the first dog I’ve had who likes to take her indoor toys outside. One evening, I retrieved one of her toys after she came in without it (again). We were all on the couch and my wife picked up the toy to play with Marley when she shrieked. There, on the stuffed toy was a small slug just minding its own business. This inspired the bugs scene in the upcoming book.
